Choosing a Multi-Channel Sound (MTS)
Soundtrack
Depending on the particular program being broadcast, you can listen to Stereo, Mono, or a
Secondary Audio Program (SAP). SAP audio is usually a foreign-language translation, although
sometimes it has unrelated information like news or weather.
Shortcut: Press the MTS button.
● The MTS mode changes to STEREO ➔ MONO ➔ SAP mode.

Press the MENU button.
● The OSD MENU is displayed.
Select SOUND SETUP using the
TV CH+/- buttons and then press the
VOL+ button.
Select MTS using the TV CH+/- buttons
and then press the VOL+ button.
Press the TV CH+/- buttons.
● The MTS mode is changed to
STEREO ➔ MONO ➔ SAP.
● Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.
SOUND MODES
• Choose STEREO for channels that are broadcasting in stereo.
• Choose MONO for channels that are broadcasting in mono,
or if you are having difficulty receiving a stereo signal.
• Choose SAP to listen to the Secondary Audio Program,
which is usually a foreign-language translation.
