Installation
Connecting Computers to the PS/2 KVM Switch:
Step 1
Make sure your computer is powered off.
Step 2
Using the Belkin PS/2 Cable Kit (F1D9000bea06), take the VGA cable and connect
the male end to the VGA port on the first computer. Connect the female end of the
cable to the PC1 port located on the long side of the KVM Switch.
(Refer to diagram below.)
Step 3
Connect one end of the PS/2 keyboard KVM cable to the keyboard port on the
computer, and the other end to the PURPLE keyboard connector under the PC1
port located on the long side of the KVM Switch. (Refer to diagram below.)
Step 4
Connect one end of the PS/2 mouse KVM cable to the mouse port on the computer,
and the other end to the GREEN mouse connector under the PC1 port located on
the long side of the KVM switch. (Refer to diagram below.)
Step 5
Power up your computer.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for each additional PS/2 computer you wish to connect.
