Total Power Failure

The "D" key (if present on the keypad, and pressed for 2 seconds), will always send a
"request for service" message to the central monitoring station. If key "D" is not present,
key pair [ ] & [#] may have been programmed for this message (see page 23), and can
then be pressed simultaneously if you wish to request service.
ADDITIONAL SERVICE INFORMATION MAY BE FOUND ON PAGE 43.
5. AC LOSS
The system is operating on battery power only due to a power
(or NO AC)
failure. If only some lights are out on the premises, check circuit
breakers and fuses and reset or replace as necessary. CALL
FOR SERVICE if AC power cannot be restored to the system.
6. Busy-Standby
If this remains displayed for more than 1 minute, system is
(or dI)
disabled. CALL FOR SERVICE IMMEDIATELY .
7. OPEN CIRCUIT
The keypad is not receiving signals from the control.

8. Long Rng Trbl
If programmed, back-up Long Range Radio communication has
(or bF)
failed. CALL FOR SERVICE.
9. Service Request
(See page 23 for information on this feature.) This display occurs
(or Cd)
if the "D" key is pressed to request service. Also displayed if key
pair [ ] & [#] are pressed and programmed to send a "request for
service" message. See CALLING FOR SERVICE below.
If there is no keypad display at all (screen is blank), and all indicators are off, all
operating power for the system (from AC and back-up battery) has stopped, and the
system is inoperative. CALL FOR SERVICE IMMEDIATELY.
