Using the grill
Warning! Do not leave the appliance
unattended during grilling. The
accessible parts of the appliance
become hot. There is a risk of burns.
Warning! Keep children away when
the grill operates. There is a risk of
burns.
Warning! Never use the grill with
closed door. There is a risk of fire.
Activating the grill:
1. Open the appliance door.
2. Put grill deflector A into position above
the door.
3. Hold the spark generator button and
turn the oven control knob to Grill posi-
tion
.
4. Release the spark generator button.
5. Hold the oven control knob in position
for 15 seconds.
6. Release the oven control knob.
7. Preheat the grill for 5 to 10 minutes.
8. Put the meat on the oven shelf and put
it on shelf level 3.
Warning! Do not put the meat on the
highest shelf level. There is a risk of fire.
9. Put a baking tray or roasting pan be-
low, on shelf level 2, to collect the jui-
ces.
Do not put the meat directly in the tray
or pan.
10. Keep the oven door slightly open.
11. When the first side is roasted, turn the
meat over with a fork to avoid losing its
juice.
12. When the second side is also ready, re-
move the meat from the oven.
If the grill does not come on or acci-
dentally goes out:
1. Release the gas oven control knob
2. Open the appliance door.
3. After one minute, try to light the

If there is no power:
1. Open the appliance door.
2. Hold a flame near the burner of the grill

Turning the grill burner off
To put the flame out, turn the knob to the
off position.
Minute minder
Use it to set a countdown time.
First turn the Minute minder control knob
(refer to "Product description") clockwise as
far as it goes. Then turn it back to required
time period value. A signal operates after
the time period ends.
This function has no effect on the oper-
ation of the oven.
Inserting the baking tray
Put the tray in the centre of the oven cavity,
between the front and rear wall. This en-
sures that the heat can circulate in front of
and behind the baking tray. Make sure that
the tray is positioned like in the picture, with
the angled slope in the rear.
