Selecting pictures display

Pictures mode

The picture viewer is called up from the
main menu.
The devices described in this guide differ
in how the picture viewer is selected via
the main menu.
Traffic Assist 7977
> Press the
button in the
Music/Pictures
main menu.
If the picture viewer was last selected, this
will be called up again directly.
If the music player was last selected, this
will be displayed. You can then switch to
the picture viewer by pressing the
button.
Traffic Assist 7827
> Press the
key in the main
Pictures
menu.
The Picture Viewer is called up and ap-
pears with its main screen.
• If the last image displayed is present on
the memory card, this will be displayed
in the image area.
• If it is no longer available, the next pic-
ture in the same folder is displayed. If
there are no pictures in the correspond-
ing folder, no pictures are displayed.
• If the memory card contains no pic-
tures, the

sage appears.
PICTURES MODE

The Picture Viewer

Using the picture viewer, the images
stored on the memory card of the Traffic
Assist can be called up and displayed. The
Picture Viewer is shown below along with
its standard display and a sample picture.
WARNING
The Picture Viewer should not be operat-
ed by the driver while driving. Insuffi-
cient attention to the road, traffic con-
trols or traffic conditions may result in
traffic accidents. If the driver wishes to
use this feature, he/she should pull over
in a safe and legal manner before viewing.
Notes:
• The formats JPG, PNG, BMP and
GIF are supported.
• You can find out how to save image
mes- files on a memory card under "Trans-
mitting music tracks, pictures and vid-
eos" on page 35.
