UNLOCKING THE SCANNER

i). Carefully place the scanner in an upright position
on its front.
ii). Unlock the scanner by moving the lock switch
beneath the scanner to the "Unlock" position (See
Figure 2-1).
iii). Gently place the scanner back to its normal
position.
