Auto Voice Recognition
After you have started the engine, turn on voice
recognition and set whether or not to perform all
operations up to route searching by voice.
(This function is effective only when a route is not
set.)
On :
The automatic voice recognition is engaged each
time your vehicle is started.
Off* :
Voice operation starts after pressing the TALK
button or VOICE button.

KM/Mile Setting
This setting controls the unit of distance dis-
played on your Navigation System.
km * :
Show distances in kilometres.
Mile :
Show distances in miles.
Mile & Yard :
Show distances in miles and yards.
Map Display
Screen display-related items can be set.
• Arrow in AV
Set whether to display the guidance informa-
tion by arrow on the Audio Operation screen of
the Pioneer AV Head Unit.

Can be used only when the AVH-P7500DVD or
AVH-P6500DVD is connected.
On* :
Display guidance information by arrow on the
Audio Operation screen.
Off :
Do not display guidance information by arrow on
the Audio Operation screen.
• Current Time
This setting controls whether to display the cur-
rent time on the screen.
On* :
The current time is shown.
Off :
The current time is not shown.
• Tracking Display
The tracking display setting has following
options.
On (Always) :
Display tracking for all journeys.
On (This journey) :
Display tracking dots but erase them when the
navigation system is turned off (when turning off
the engine of your vehicle).
Off* :
Do not display tracking dots.
• Areas to Avoid
This setting activates Area to Avoid being set.
On* :
Areas to Avoid are displayed on the screen, and
these areas are avoided as much as possible dur-
ing route calculation.
Off :
Areas to Avoid are not indicated, and are not
taken into account during route calcutation.
Caution
When "Areas to Avoid" is turned "Off", Area
to Avoid will not be considered during route
calculation. If you want a route calculation
while avoiding some areas, change the set-
ting to "On".
• AV Guide Mode
Setting whether or not to switch to navigation
screen automatically when the navigation guid-
ance voice is played while displaying a screen
other than navigation.
On* :
Switching from audio operation screen to naviga-
tion screen.
Off :
Screen is not switched.
• Close-up of Junction
This setting enables to switch to an enlarged
map around the point when your vehicle is
approaching to an intersection, entrance/exit of
motorway, or a junction.
On* :
Display switches to an enlarged map.
Off :
Does not switch to an enlarged map.
