Fader, the signal you selected is then routed through the Pan Pot so you as the
operator can pan it hard Left (Channel 1 output), hard Right (Channel 2 output)
or anywhere in between. This is useful for music recordings and also for stereo
mixdowns for dailies. Normally, you would use main outputs 1 and 2 as a stereo
pair for dailies.
Channels 3 to 8:
Channels 3 through 8 are handled in a similar way. They also incorporate the 3-
way toggle switch allowing your choice of Pre-Fader, Off or Post-Fader audio
feeds.
They are somewhat simplified in that they do not have any panning
function built into them. Main outputs 3 through 8 can be used for 3 stereo pairs
to feed 3 cameras, or for multi-track recording or for combinations of these two.

Channel Fader

The Solice mixer is equipped with Penny and Giles conductive plastic faders.

Pre-Fade Listen Switch

Each input channel of the Solice mixer is equipped with a Pre-Fader Listen
switch.
These momentary contact, red pushbutton switches are located at the
bottom of each input channel.
