BASIC OPERATION
ï ï International channels
There are pre-programmed 57 international channels for the
IC-M603.
q Push [DIAL] to select a regular channel.
w While pushing and holding [H/L], push [DIAL] to change
the channel group, if necessary.
• " " appears when International channel is selected.
e Rotate [SELECTOR] to select a channel.
• " " appears for duplex channels.
• Pushing the keypad or [Y Y ]/[Z Z ] on the microphone also selects a
channel.

ï ï U.S.A. channels
For U.K. version, there are pre-programmed 61 U.S.A. chan-
nels in addition to 59 International channels.
q Push [DIAL] to select a regular channel.
w While pushing and holding [H/L], push [DIAL] to change
the channel group, if necessary.
• International and U.S.A. channels can be selected in sequence.
e Rotate [SELECTOR] to select a channel.
• " " appears for duplex channels.
• Pushing the keypad or [Y Y ]/[Z Z ] on the microphone also selects a
channel.

For Holland and FRG version, there are pre-programmed 57
ATIS and 57 DSC* channels in addition to 58
or 56 International channels.
