Cancel the Solution Cooling:
1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN (KORT
CENTRIFUG., ESSOR. DELICAT).
2. Keep the button PRE WASH (Vorwäsche, Prélav-
age) pressed for at least 5 seconds.
As soon as the button is pressed, MAIN WASH
(Hauptwäsche, Lavage) flashes on the program
sequence display. After 5 seconds, MAIN WASH
(Hauptwäsche, Lavage) stops flashing and lights
up constantly for 5 seconds.
3. While MAIN WASH (Hauptwäsche, Lavage) lights
up constantly, release the button PRE WASH
(Vorwäsche, Prélavage). After
(Hauptwäsche, Lavage) has stopped lighting up,
the solution cooling is cancelled.
The solution cooling increases water con-

sumption and the program run time.

Additional Rinse and Solution Cooling

You can combine the additional rinse and the solu-
tion cooling. Setting as under "Additional Rinse" and
"Solution Cooling".

Program Saving

To protect a program setting against unwanted
changes (e. g. turning the program selector, pressing
auxiliary buttons etc.), you can set the program sav-
ing function. This prevents damage to your washing.
Setting and cancelling the program saving

function is possible at any time during a pro-
gram.
Setting the Program Saving Function:
1. Set the required washing program.
2. To start the program, press the START/PAUSE
(Marche/Pause) button.
3. Simultaneously keep the PRE WASH (Vorwäsche,
Prélavage) button and the SOAKING (Einweichen,
Trempage) button pressed for 5 seconds. The
program sequence display flashes for 5 seconds;
The program saving function is set.
3 You cannot make any other settings as long
as the program saving function is set. The
door cannot be opened with the
LIGHT (Tür/Licht, Porte/Lumiere) button.
Even after the washing cycle has ended, you
must first cancel the program saving func-
tion before you can open the door.

If an attempt is made during the washing cycle to
change the selected setting by pressing a button, the
program sequence display flashes for 5 seconds.
If an attempt is made to change the selected setting
by turning the program selector, the program
sequence display flashes until the original position of
the program selector is restored. The washing cycle
is not influenced in either case.
The program selector must be in its original

position before you can cancel the program
saving function.
Canceling the Program Saving Function:
Simultaneously keep the PRE WASH (Vorwäsche,
Prélavage) button and the SOAKING (Einweichen,
Trempage) button pressed for 5 seconds. The pro-
gram sequence display flashes for 5 seconds, then it
lights up constantly for 5 seconds. The program sav-
ing function is cancelled.
