Cause/solution
Is the camera in an area with no wireless signal, or
is there a concrete wall or other obstructions
between the camera and wireless router?
Check the [Radio wave status] from [Wireless] -
[Status] on the setup menu, and install the camera
in an area that is close to the wireless router, has no
interfering objects, and can easily receive signals.
Did you register the camera's MAC address to
wireless routers that have MAC address filtering
activated?
Register the camera's MAC address to the wireless
router. You can check the camera's MAC address
from the sticker attached to the camera or from the
MAC address displayed in [Mac address of the
wireless module] from [Wireless] - [Status] on the
setup menu.
Is the channel used for wireless communication the
same as another nearby wireless networks?
Try changing the wireless communication channel
of the wireless router. For information about
changing the communications channel, refer to the
operating instructions included with your wireless
router.
Is a cordless telephone or other devices or objects
causing interference?
Try moving the cordless telephone or other devices
or objects causing interference. Refer to [Radio
wave status] from [Wireless] - [Status] on the setup
menu, and try moving the camera closer to the
wireless router or removing objects causing
interference to make it easier for the wireless signal
to reach the camera.
