6. TROUBLESHOOTING

There is no spark when
lighting the gas.
There is no spark when
lighting the gas.
The flame is blown out
immediately after ignition.
The gas ring burns un-
evenly.
The appliance does not
operate.
The electrical cooking
zone does not heat up.
Problem
Possible cause
• There is no electrical
supply.
• The burner cap and
crown are placed un-
evenly.
• The thermocouple is
not heated sufficiently.
• The burner crown is
blocked with food resi-
due.
• There is no electrical
supply.
• There is no electrical
supply.
• The wrong knob is
used to operate the
cooking zone.
Remedy
• Make sure that the ap-
pliance is connected
and the electrical sup-
ply is switched on.
• Do a check of the fuse.
If the fuse is released
more than one time, re-
fer to a qualified electri-
cian.
• Make sure that the
burner cap and crown
are in the correct posi-
tions.
• After lightning the
flame, keep the knob
pushed for approxi-
mately 5 seconds.
• Make sure that the in-
jector is not blocked
and the burner crown
is clear of food parti-
cles.
• Make sure that the ap-
pliance is connected
and the electrical sup-
ply is switched on.
• Do a check of the fuse.
If the fuse is released
more than one time, re-
fer to a qualified electri-
cian.
• Make sure that the ap-
pliance is connected

ply is switched on.
• Make sure that you
turn the correct control
knob.
• Do a check of the fuse.
