Note: Watch the pin position and the orientation
(7A), (7B) and (7C): RT1, RT2 and RT3 Header
(8) CCMOS1: CMOS Discharge Jumper
If you have a Network adapter that supports
this feature, then you can connect the
specific cable from the network adapter to
this header. This feature lets you wake up
your computer via remote control through a
local area network. You may need a specific
utility to control the wake up event, like
®
using the Intel
LDCM
similar utilities.
The Thermistors RT1 and RT3 are already
onboard, RT1 (or R317) is used to detect the
system environment temperature, and RT3
is used to detect the CPU temperature. The
RT2 is for you to connect an additional
thermistor to detect the temperature in the
location of your choice. You can buy the
thermistor at an electronics store, and ask for
a 10K
thermistor which should be OK.
Please don't use too long of a lead wire for
the thermistor.

memory. When you install the motherboard,
make sure this jumper is set for normal
operation (pin 1 and 2 shorted). See figure
