Alert Specification Format (ASF) Configuration

The Alert Specification Format (ASF 2.0) defines remote and alert settings in PCs that do not
have an OS and are maintained through the network.
ASF Support [Enabled]
Enables or disables ASF Support. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
ASF BIOS Mode [ON]
Manages ASF BIOS mode. Configuration options: [On] [Off] [Alert Only]
ASF WatchDog Timer [Disabled]
Sets ASF WatchDog Timer values. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following items are made available when you set the above item to [Enabled].
WatchDog Timer: BIOS 0
Key in timer value using the numeric keypad.
WatchDog Timer: OS 0
Key in timer value using the numeric keypad.

Management Component Transport Protocol (MCTP)
Configuration
MCTP enables communication between remote management controllers, allowing a PC
to serve as a subsystem that links with other devices regardless of hardware or operating
system.
MCTP Support [Enabled]
The following three items appear only when you set the above item to [Enabled].
PLDM for SMBIOS [Enabled]
Enable or disable PLDM for the SMBIOS. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
PLDM for BIOS Control and Configuration [Enabled]
Enable or disable PLDM for BIOS control and configuration. Configuration options:
[Enabled] [Disabled]
PLDM for Platform Monitoring [Enabled]
Enable or disable PLDM for monitoring. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
