1. Final gear oil filler cap

Final gear oil replacement

1. Put the scooter on the center-
stand.
2. Place an oil pan under the final
gear case to catch the oil.
3. Remove the oil filler cap and the
drain bolt to drain the oil.
4. Install and tighten the drain bolt
to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Drain bolt:
22 Nm (2.2 m0kg)

5. Fill the gear case with the recom-
mended oil.
Recommended final gear oil:
SAE 10W30 type SE motor oil
Final gear case capacity:
0.25 L

Do not let foreign material enter
the final gear case. Be sure oil
does not get on the tire or wheel.

6. Install the oil filler cap.
7. After replacing the final gear oil,
be sure to check for oil leakage.
