OPERATING MODES
5.1.
Simple Acknowledgment
The radio base acknowledges the frames sent by the IS1000 laser reader. The laser
reader waits for acknowledgment from the radio base during time-out T1, whose default
value is 200 ms. When it receives the acknowledgment, the laser reader sounds a short
high-pitched beep (transmission OK).
If it does not receive the acknowledgment, the laser reader sounds a long low-pitched
beep (transmission not OK).
This mode is the default mode. It is used regardless of the physical interface between the
radio base and host.
To configure this mode and timer, refer to the IS1000 Configuration Guide.
