Installing
To install the Shifter, follow the instructions below.
Note:
The Shifter cannot be used in combination with the optional Multibin
Unit. If the Multibin Unit is installed, remove it before installing the
Shifter. See "Multibin Unit" in the Reference Guide.
1. Follow steps 1 through 4 in "Removing the Printer's Top
Cover" on page 28.
2. Lift the Shifter over the printer, tilting the front end slightly
downward, and fit the metal hook into the hook slot.
