Step 18. Install the two candelabra-base
lightbulbs included with your Casablanca
fan. When replacing, be sure to only use
60 Watt bulbs maximum.
Step 19. Insert the threaded rod from
the light kit base through the hole in
the glass.
Step 20. Thread the base nut onto the
threaded rod from the light kit base.
Align the fl at sides of the glass with the
fl at sides of the fan.
Tighten the base nut securely.
Note: In compliance with US Federal Energy
Regulations, this ceiling fan contains a device
that restricts the light kit to a maximum of 190
watts. Exceeding that limit or the marked limit
on this product may result in a fi re hazard or
improper operation.
Step 21. Slide the light kit cap over the
threaded rod so that it is fl ush with the
bottom of the glass.
Align the light kit cap so that the blank
panels match with the blank glass panels
as shown.
Thread the fi nial and tighten securely.
