3.48. RoutingRule
Description
A Routing Rule forces the use of a routing table in the forward and/or return direction of traffic on a
connection. The ordering parameter of the routing table determines if it is consulted before or after
the main routing table.

Note
If no Index is specified when creating an instance of this type, the object will be
placed last in the list and the Index will be equal to the length of the list.
Chapter 3. Configuration Reference
The index of the object, starting at 1. (Identifier)
Specifies a symbolic name for the rule. (Optional)
The forward routing table will be used for packets
from the connection originator to the connection en-
dpoint.
The return routing table will be used for packets
traveling in the reverse direction.
Specifies the sender span of IP addresses to be com-
pared to the received packet.
Specifies the span of IP addresses to be compared to
the destination IP of the received packet.
Specifies the name of the receiving interface to be
compared to the received packet.
Specifies the the destination interface to be com-
pared to the received packet.
Specifies a service that will be used as a filter para-
meter when matching traffic with this rule.
By adding a schedule to a rule, the security gateway
will only allow that rule to trigger at those desig-
nated times. (Optional)
Enable logging. (Default: Yes)
Specifies with what severity log events will be sent
to the specified log receivers. (Default: Default)
Text describing the current object. (Optional)
