w w Check the main power cable and check that it is plugged into a suitable power
outlet.
w w Check the STB main power switch 'ON' at the rear of the STB.
w w See 'Does not display any message on the front panel' above.
w w To match the STB system with your TV system (PAL/NTSC), press V.Format button until
a picture is displayed.
w w Check the video output port is irmly connected to the TV or VCR.
w w Check that you have selected the Video Input on your TV.
w w Press the STB button on the remote to assure you are controlling the STB and no
other device with the remote.
w w Check the brightness level of the TV.
w w Check the resolution that your TV supports, and set the proper resolution with the
remote Resolution button to obtain a picture.
w w See 'No Picture' above.
w w Check the signal level, if this is low then tries adjusting the alignment of your dish.
w w See 'No Picture' above.
w w Check the volume level of the TV and STB.
w w Check the Mute status of the TV and STB.
w w Point remote control directly towards the STB.
w w Check that the STB button lights up when you press any button
w w Check and replace batteries.
w w Check the LNB; Replace the LNB if necessary.
w w Check the cable from the LNB.
w w Check the position of the dish; realign dish if necessary.
w w If you are using a DiSEqC 1.0 switch, check that you have connected and
programmed the LNBs to the correct connections on the switch.
w w Check the 'Signal Level' and the 'Signal Quality'.
