The Sharp MD-X60H may not recognize CDs due to a dirty objective lens on the optical pickup. Dust or foreign matter buildup on the laser pickup lens can cause track skipping or failure to read the Table of Contents (TOC). Cleaning the lens with a lens cleaning tissue and isopropyl alcohol may resolve the issue. If the problem persists, check the changer mechanism cam switches (SWB101 to SWB104), tray switches (SWB105 to SWB108), and the connection between IC901 and these switches.
