Built-in MD Player's Error Message

When problems occur with MD playback, an error message appears on the display. Refer
to the table below to identify the problem, then take the suggested corrective action. If the
error persists, contact your dealer or your nearest PIONEER Service Center.

Possible cause
Disc name has not been input.
Track name has not been input.
MD player overheating.
Dirty disc.
Scratched disc.

Track information cannot be
read.
There is something wrong with
the MD.
The MD contains recorded
information other than music.
Electrical or mechanical
problem.
MD play not possible.
Recommended action
Switch to a display other than Disc
Name indications.
Switch to a display other than
Track Name indications.
Discontinue play until the machine
temperature drops.
Clean the disc.
Replace the disc.
Turn the ignition ON and OFF, or
switch to a different source, then back
to the MD player.
Reload the MD.
Replace the disc.

or press the Reset button.
