Attach the back brace to the CD player using the supplied hardware. Then attach the other end of the brace to a firm mounting surface (i.e. Dash brace, fire wall, e.t.c.) This will brace the back of the CD player to ensure solid mounting to prevent theft and provide optimal CD play.
