2.4 FRITZ!Card USB on the ISDN Line

conditions and settings.
When your ISDN line is installed, the ISDN network operator
first installs an NT (Network Terminator) with two ISDN jacks.

In many cases, one of the NT's ISDN jacks is used to connect a
PBX with analog extensions, while the second jack is used to
connect a digital device. Existing analog telephone equipment,
such as telephones, cordless phone stations, answering
machines and Group 3 fax machines then can be connected to
the PBX extensions. The various terminal devices can be
addressed by individual MSNs ("Multiple Subscriber Numbers").
