Making the initial settings

Setting the screensaver

The screensaver functions protects the TV screen from imprinting.

Use to select "SCREEN SAVER", then press
[ENTER]

Use to select the item to be set, then press
[ENTER]

OFF (Upon purchase):
When this is set, the screensaver function does not work.
ON:
When this is set, the screensaver function is activated after about 5
minutes in the stop or pause mode.

NOTE:
• The screensaver does not function for discs containing MP3,
®
WMA, JPEG or DivX files.

Setting the display

If the display is turned off with the pure direct or dimmer function, a
description of operations can be displayed for about 2 seconds.

Use to select the item to be set, then press
[ENTER]

OFF (Upon purchase), ON:
Set to "OFF" if you do not want the display to light, to "ON" if you
do want the display to light.

Setting the auto power mode

This function automatically sets the player's power to the standby
mode if the player is left in the stop mode for about 30 minutes.

Use to select "AUTO POWER MODE", then

Use to select the item to be set, then press
[ENTER]

OFF (Upon purchase), ON:
Select "OFF" if you do not want the power to be set to the standby
mode automatically, "ON" if you do want it to be set to the standby
mode.

Setting the slide switching time

Use this procedure to set the time after which the still picture (in
JPEG format) switches when playing still pictures.
