Characters are faded or clipped
*
Background is blurry or contains black stripe (Note: Be sure to clean the led head)
*

*
The quality of output obtained from an LC800 series printer can be influenced in the handling of the OPC
*
Foreign objects can scratch or mar the surface of the OPC.
*
The OPC drum cannot be exposed to light indefinitely without being damaged. We recommend not exposing the OPC to
light for more than approximately 60 seconds. However, tests have shown no adverse affects when exposed to 5-10 times
that amount.
*
Do not touch the OPC drum; finger prints will appear on your output.
The OPC cartridge should be stored in the shipping case provided.
SUBJECT:
LC800 OPC Page Count Set
Q : Why does the LC800 flash "PC LIFE" after the OPC has been replaced and how do you reset the page count?
A: The reason the LC800 flashes "PC LIFE" is because the page count has not been reset. When replacing the OPC with a new
OPC, the LC800 needs to be powered on. Before placing the new OPC into the LC800, press the PC Reset button (lower right
hand corner) and place the new OPC into the printer. Close the hood assembly and release the PC Reset button. This procedure
resets the page count. To verify if the page count has been reset, turn off the LC800. Hold down the SELECT and NEXT buttons
and then power on the printer. The LCD will display the page counts. The number on the left is the OPC count and the one on the
right is the machine count.
