26 Chapter 4 – Installing MSP 3.2 with the Typical Setup Type
Installing MSP Server 3.2 with an Existing Version of
MSP Server 3.0
Important:
You cannot install MSP Server 3.2 over an existing version of MSP Server 3.0.
Uninstalling MSP 3.0
To uninstall MSP 3.0:
1. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
2. Select MSP 3.0 and click Remove.
Important:
Make sure you select the check box that indicates you want to keep all data
associated with MSP.
Installing MSP 3.1.1
By installing 3.1.1, you convert the 3.0 version database to a 3.1.1 database. If you attempt to
install MSP 3.2 before converting the database, the installer displays the screen in Figure 16.
