The exact sequence of the next few steps depends on what, if any, SQL Server instances are discovered and the installer’s success in contacting the SQL Server instances.

If your particular installation scenario is different from those in this guide, you may need to contact Motorola support. Space prohibits even an attempt to describe every possible or existing system configuration, therefore, describing exact installation scenarios is impractical. It will have to suffice that such a method exists and that extensive knowledge of the installation environment and each component would be required for such an installation.

    There is NO means provided to automate the switchover between the primary and secondary applications servers. There also is no built-in facility for the secondary application server to detect that the primary has gone down.     Chapter 7 – Upgrading a Database Server to SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise Edition Introduction The MSP 3.2 Server installer does not provide support to upgrade from using a SQL Server 2005 Express Edition to using either SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise editions. This upgrade must be performed separately from the MSP 3.2 server install/upgrade.
