Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

Using S-Video

To connect your DVD player to a receiver using S-Video:

Connect the S-Video jack on the back of your DVD player to the S-Video
jack on your receiver.
You need to configure the DVD player for digital audio
output. For more information, see
page 57.
You may also need to configure your receiver for digital
audio input. For more information, see the user's guide that
came with your receiver.
