If you disconnected the USB device duringa recording,
the main unitpowers off and you will not be able to delete
the recorded filefrom your USB device. If this occurs,
pleaseconnect the USB device to a PC, backup the USB
datato the PC, and then format the USB device.
Whenthe USB memoryhas insufficientfree space, the
systemwill display"NOT ENOUGH MEMORY".
The USB device or HDDyou are recordingto must be
formatted in the FATfilesystem. The NTFSfile system is
not supported.
Whenyou use the CD high speed searchfunction, CD
recordingis not available.
The recordingtime may be longerwith some USB devices.
In the program mode, you can't usethe CD recording
function.
The equalizeris set to "OFF" automaticallyand is not
availabb during a CD recording.
The GIGA SOUNDfunction is set to "OFF"automatically
and is not availableduring a CD recording.
The REPEATfunction is set to "OFF" automaticallyand is
not availabb during a CD recording.
If you use the MIC function duringa CD recording,the
voice from the microphonewill be recorded.
Youcan not record the radio when searchingor when no
availabb station is found in the Tunermode.
Notethat setting the input leveltoo loud when recording
musicfrom an external device through the AUX or USB
channelmay cause noise in the recording.If this occurs,
lower the external device's volume bvel.
The maximumTUNER/AUXrecordingtime is 5 hours.
You can select the recording speed before recording.
Each time you press the CD REC SPEED button
on the remote
control,
the recording
speed will
change
as follows:
RECORD SPD X 1 "* RECORD SPD X 4
,, When you record from the tuner or an externalsource, you
cannot changethe recording speed.
,, If you select RECORDSPDX 4, sound is not produced during
the recording.
,, If you connected the microphone,you have one recording
speed mode available:RECORDSPD X 1.
,, Duringrecording,if you disconnect the microphone, the
recordingwill stop. If you reconnect the microphone,the
recordingwill not restart.
The GIGA SOUND function
amplifies
the bass
sound
and provides
twice
the bass for powerful,
realistic
sound.

Press the GIGA SOUND
BLAST button on the
main unit or the GIGA button on the remote control.
Each time you press this button, the sound switches
as follows:
OFF '_ GIGA SOUND BLAST

To cancel this function, press the GIGA SOUND
BLAST button until "OFF" is displayed.
,, The GIGA SOUND mode may be different depending
on your region.

genre. You can also adjust the bass, middle
and treble levels manually.

Result:The MIDDLEbvel flashes.
Press the TUNING/ALBUM A or V buttonto selecta bvel
from @6to 06.
Press the ENTER button.
Result:The TREBLE levelflashes.
Press the TUNING/ALBUM A or V buttonto selecta bvel
from @6to 06.
Press the ENTER button.
Result:setting is complete.
