Removing FromCarton
1. Cutthe corners of the cartonandlaythe sides flat on theground.Remove
anddiscard all packinginserts.
2. Movethe snowthrowerout of the carton.
3. Makecertainthe cartonhasbeencompletely emptiedbefore discarding it.
Assembly
Observe t he lowerrearareaof the snowthrowerto besurebothcables are
alignedwith rollerguidesbeforepivotingthe handleupward.
a. Place theshift [everinthe F6position.
b. Puffup andbackonupperhandleasshownin Figure 1.Asyouare
raisingthe handleupward,makesurethat bothendsof the center
cablearepositionedproperly inthe brackets. Alignupperhandle
withthe lowerhandle.
c. Tighten handknobs securingupperhandleto lowerhandle.Remove
anddiscard anyrubberbands, i f present. T hey arefor packaging
purposes o nly.
Remove c otterpin, wingnut,andhexscrew from chutecontrolhead and
clevispinandbow-tiecotterpinfrom chutesupportbracket. S eeFigure 2.
Insertchutecontrolrodinto inputof chutecontrol h ead.Pushrodasfarinto
the chutecontrol h eadaspossible, k eeping the holesin the rodpointing
upward. S eeFigure 3.
