The display will show one after another the
capital letters (A-Z), the umlauts, the special
characters, and the numbers (0-9).
Use the / button to move to the next
character and make a selection.
It is possible to specify a total of 8 different
characters.
To finish your entry:
Press the -dB button to store the entry and
then either the DSC button to quit the DSC
mode, or EJECT to name the next disc.
An old name can be deleted by overwriting it
with a new one.

DSC programming

This car radio offers direct software control
(DSC) to adapt a number of default settings
to your personal needs and to store them.
In the following you will find an overview of all
the default settings adjusted at the factory.
To change a programmed parameter,
press DSC.
Then use the rocker switch to select and
change the functions described below.
The display shows the the adjusted conditi-
on.

Use this function to name
your discs.
Use one of the values -1, 0,
or +1 to adapt the individual
viewing angle.
Achnowledgement tone for
all functions where the re-
spective button has to be
hold down for more than 2
seconds to activate the fun-
ction.
Adjust volume between
0 and 9 (0 = OFF).
The display brightness can
be adjusted between 1 and
15. You may set one day
and one night adjustment.
Brightness of night illuminati-
on:
Switch on the vehicle's light-
ing system and program the
brightness value. For this,
the illumination connector
has to be hooked up to the
electric system of the car.
