BATTERY A ND M EMORY I NSTALLATION
WARNING: Do not use different Voltage lead acid battery other than
the one specified in this section. Doing so will damage the camera
and will void the warranty.
WARNING: ALWAYS have the camera in the OFF position when
installing or removing batteries and memory card. Removing batteries
or memory card while the camera is ON may damage the camera.
Your Stealth Cam Advanced Digital Scouting Camera is designed to
operate u sing t wo d ifferent t ypes o f b attery p ower o ptions.
Batteries " AA" c ell
The internal battery compartment accepts 8 "AA" cell batteries. Be
sure to use high quality brand name alkaline batteries. Install
batteries with correct polarity (+/-­‐) as noted inside the battery
compartment.
12V L ead A cid e xternal b attery
The camera is equipped with an external power jack designed to
accept a b arrel p lug c able a ttached t o a s ealed l ead a cid b attery. ( Sold
separately). B attery c able a nd c omplete 1 2V L ead A cid b attery k its a re
available wherever Stealth Cam scouting cameras are sold or call toll
free 877-­‐269-­‐8490. Only Stealth Cam external battery accessories are
recommended.
