For best results,do not locate the heater in an area with a high rate of air filtration and
movementas the warm air will be exhausted.
Try placingthe heater near a warmer inside wall and direct the outputtoward a cooler outside
waft. Thecooler outsidewall wiil tend to draw the generatedheat toward itself, whichwill allow
for more efficient heating.
Placing the heater nextto a cold air returnwill draw the heat away from area to be heated.
Try closing or covering the cold air return. Thiswilf allowfor more efficientheating. Experiment
with the placement of the heater to seewhat works bestfor you.
Toensuremaximumefficiency,a 40% (minimum) r elative humidityshouldbe maintained in the
heated environment t o acheive soft heat.
Theheaters are designedto operate for maximumefficiencyin a room temperaturerange from
68' to 72 ° F. Due to the soft heat concept, a temperature of 68 degrees will feel as though it
were 72 degrees. This is dueto the heat mixingevenly with humidityfor %ead-to-toe" comfort.
When the heater is placed in an isolatedarea, i.e. basementor recreation area, the delivery
registers and air return grillsof the existing systemshouldbe closed in that area if possible.
In rooms with large areas of bare concrete, try pfac[ngthe heater a few feet above the floor.
Make surethe heater is secure and won'tfall. Thiswill allow for more efficient heating since
concrete actsas a heat sinkand wffl tend to draw theheat in itsdirection.
