IMPORTANTINFORMATION:If youhave alIergies and!or are sensitiveto dust_ youwill want to use this
filter. When choosing to use the filter, it mustbe cleaned as often as necessary; a clogged filter will
prevent the heater from workingto itsfull capacity.
To clean the filler:
1)
Pressthe tab(s) on thetop of the filter cover to release the filter. (See picture)
2)
Runwarm tap water over the filter in the opposite direction of air flow, untilwater runsclear. The
filter might excrete somefiltered residue, so be cautious notto drip on any stainable surfacessuch
as carpeting. Youcan also soak thefiEter in water mixed with a smaffamountof mild dishsoap
(don't forget to rinse with water after soakingfilter).
3)
Shake the filter over a sinkuntilexcess water is removed and allow it to drip dry completely before
reinstatEng. DO NOT force the filter to dry usingany alternative methods.
4)
,Reinstallthe filter to the rear of the unitby positioning the filter back in place and securing the
filter cover back into the locked position.
