?c_ Automatic Sensor Cleaning
Whenever you set the power switch to <ON> or <OFF>, the Self
Cleaning Sensor Unit operates to automatically shake off the dust on
the front of the sensor. Normally, you need not pay attention to this
operation. However, you can choose to perform sensor cleaning at any
time, or disable it.
Cleaning thesensorNow
Select [Sensor cleaning].
_ Under the [_,3] tab, select [Sensor
cleaning], then press <_) >.
,_,,,_Select [Clean hOW:hi.
_ Select [Clean now_], then press
<(_>.
_ Select [OK] on the dialog screen,
then press <0>.
t_ The screen will indicate that the
sensor is being cleaned. (A small
sound may be heard.) Although there
will be a shutter sound during the
cleaning, a picture is not taken.
For best Jesuits, perform the Sensor Cleaningwith the Camera placed
upright and stab!e ena tab!e or 0ther flat surface;
Even if you repeat the sensor cleaning, the result wi!l not improve muck

Disabling Automatic SensorCJeaning
_4 In step 2, select [Auto cleaning :*_ ] and set it to [Disable].
