MF: Focus Manually
You can magnify the image and focus precisely with manual focus•
4_ Set the lens focus mode switch to
r_ <MF>.
_ Turn the lens focusing ring to focus
roughly.
Magnifying frame
Display the magnifying frame.
® Press the <_> button•
S+ The magnifying frame will appear•
_ You can also tap [O,] on the screen to
magnify the image.
_ Move the magnifying frame.
_ Press the <,;_ > key to move the
magnifying frame to the position
where you want to focus•
_ To return the magnifying frame to the
center, press <_)> or the <-_> button.
_,_ Magnify the image.
_ Each time you press the <Q,> button,
the magnification within the frame will
change as follows:
lx -->5x -->10x -->Magnification canceled

_ While looking atthe magnified image,
turn the lens focusing ring to focus•
_ After achieving focus, press the <_ >
button to return to the normal view•
Take the picture.
_ Check the focus and exposure, then
press the shutter button to take the
picture (p.146).
