To reset the CNT value
Press the RESET (NO) button in the menu control section.
The time counter display changes to 0:00:00:00.
Notes
• When the remote control switch on this unit is set to
9PIN or i.LINK, and an external device is connected to
the REMOTE connector or HDV/DV connector on the
rear panel, then it is only possible to switch TC and UB
by pressing the COUNTER SELECT button on this unit.
In this case, switch the time data display from the
external device.
• During playback, if there are discontinuous sections of
recording on the tape, these may cause the counter to
malfunction.
Note
The count value of the counter in this unit is a value simply
calculated from timecode. Therefore, calculation may not
be accurate in the following cases.
• When using a tape on which discontinuous timecode is
recorded
• When using a tape containing both DF mode and NDF
mode recordings
• When using a tape with unrecorded sections or
discontinuously recorded sections between recorded
sections
• During playback, the counter value may be inaccurate at
the boundary between recordings in different video
formats (HDV, DVCAM, or DV).
