High Definition A5 Color Video Printer with
USB Digital Capture Capability
Incorporating the same trusted design and functions of the popular UP-55MD, the UP-55MD/HD
includes the added capability of accepting 1080i or 720p HD video signals and producing prints
with full HD resolution in a widescreen aspect ratio. For added flexibility, the UP-55MD/HD also
accommodates SD signals and can be set to automatically detect the signal type (SD, 1080i or 720p).
Additionally, the UP-55MD/HD can down convert the HD signal to SD definition when outputting to a
standard definition video monitor source.
The UP-55MD/HD printer includes a USB interface that allows the user to capture HD still images that
are printed and store them on a small, portable USB storage device, like the Sony MicroVault™* media.
With Sony's ImagePort™ Technology, HD images can later be imported into a laptop or PC for medical
reporting, PowerPoint
®
presentations, referrals, or educational purposes. The UP-55MD/HD printer is an
ideal choice for printing in HD endoscopy modalities, as well as ultrasound and other medical and
scientific applications.
