Overview
Printing barcodes directly from SAP R/3, Oracle or even custom or Windows applications can simpli-
fy the processes that depend on them. The BarDIMM Box connects to Samsung PCL5e compliant
printers – over the network or using the USB port – to add high-quality 1D and 2D barcodes at high
speed. Unlike some barcode solutions, which merely add fonts, the BarDIMM Box extends the PCL5
language. And because the BarDIMM Box looks after processing (error detection, checksum calcula-
tion, formatting and so on), it reduces network and processing loads, while printing barcodes in almost
any size or rotation and even embedding caption text in, above or below the barcode.

Benefit
• Adds intelligence to your printing for more than
80 barcode types, from the simplest 1D bar-
codes to the most complex and recent 2D bar-
codes.
• The BarDIMM Box is a network print server that
connects to the printer over the LAN or using its
USB port.
• Works out of the box with many ERP applica-
tions including SAP R/3 (OSS notes available). It
is also usable from Oracle, Peoplesoft or JD
Edwards.
• Works immediately with most Windows appli-
cations, using activation through special
TrueType fonts.
• Barcoding is also possible for applications on
other operating systems, such as Unix or main-
frames, by inserting commands in PCL5 flows
or ASCII/SCS spool files.
