In the same terminal window, type cat /etc/redhat-release and press <Enter>.
The current Red Hat release number is displayed.

Upgrading DX Software From Version 1.0 To Version 2.x

To upgrade DX software from version 1.0 to version 2.x:
1.
Extract the DX 2.1.1 package.
2.
Upgrade the CSN software using the install script: caringo-csn-bundle-install.sh.
3.
Click OK to accept restarting the system after the installation is complete.
The CSN is not functional until it is restarted.
NOTE: In the interval between upgrade and restart, the Netboot component may log errors related to a port
conflict. You can ignore these errors as these are resolved with the restart.
4.
On the Netboot page, select the new CAStor version.
5.
Select Cluster Services → Netboot Management, and then select castor-5.0.0-x86_64-product.
6.
Click Update.
7.
From the Storage Console, restart the DX cluster.
8.
If you want to take advantage of a larger internal network in the DX system, run the changeinternalnetwork
script while the storage cluster is restarting.
For more information on updating the internal interface, see "Updating the Internal Interface" in the
Installation and Configuration Guide , version 2.0 at dell.com/support/manuals. After the upgrade, no further
configuration is required. All existing configuration and service states are preserved from their previously
configured values.
