Memory Card Details
1. From the Home screen, press
Settings Memory settings
The details display.
2. Touch one of the following options:
• Format: allows you to erase all the data on the inserted
memory card (not included) and formats it for your phone.
• Rename: allows you to rename this memory card (if a name
was assigned).
Memory Status
You can check the amount of the memory being used and the
memory remaining for Shared memory, Messaging, My Files,
Calendar, Tasks, Memo, and Contacts. The display shows the
total space including the used and available space.
You can also view how much space is currently occupied by
each message box and check how many names and
numbers are stored in Contacts, in the SIM card, phone
memory, and FDN.
1. From the Home screen, press
Settings Memory settings.
2. Touch Memory status, then touch the desired item to
view the memory status.

Network Selection

The Network Selection feature enables you to automatically
or manually select the network used when roaming outside
of your home area.
Note: You can select a network other than your home network
only if there is a valid roaming agreement between
the two.
To change the Network Selection mode:
1. From the Home screen, press
Settings Network selection.
Search Now
To change the Network Selection mode:
1. Touch Search now. The phone scans for network
connections and displays them.
2. Touch the network to which you subscribe and touch
Select.
