To activate Silent mode via the Dialer:
1. From the Home screen, touch
2. Press and hold
to Silent.
3. Press and hold
previous mode.
To activate Silent mode via the QWERTY keypad:
1. Slide open the phone to reveal the QWERTY keypad.
2. From Home screen, press and hold Spacebar key to
change from the current mode to Silent.
3. Press the Spacebar key again to return to the previous
mode.
