Reset Phone
(Menu #.4.8)
Use this menu to reset the phone to its default
settings.
1. Select Yes.
2. Select Yes again. The phone automatically
turns itself off and then back on.
Card slot setup
(Menu #.4.9)
Use this menu to access the security options for
the currently used card.
•
PIN check: activate the PIN check feature.
You must enter the PIN assigned to your
card each time you switch on the phone.
•
Change PIN: change the PIN of your card
to a new one, provided that the PIN check
feature is enabled.
•
FDN mode: activate FDN (Fixed Dialling
Number) mode, in which you can dial only
the numbers stored on the card.
• Change PIN2: change the PIN2 of your
card to a new one.
Launch Pad
(Menu #.5)
You can use the Navigation keys as shortcuts to
access specific menus directly from Idle mode.
Use this menu to assign a shortcut to a key.
1. Select a key to be used as a shortcut key.
2. Select the menu to be assigned to the key.
Network Selection
This network service allows you to either
automatically or manually select the network
used when roaming outside of your home area.
You can select a network other than your home
network only if there is a valid roaming
agreement between the two.
