21. When prompted, remove Windows startup disk #3 and insert the CMD CSA-64xx
IDE Driver diskette.
22. Press Enter to continue loading the CMD CSA-64xx IDE driver.
23. Setup will copy files to the hard drive.
24. Remove the CMD CSA-64xx IDE driver diskette, remove any disk from the
CD-ROM drive, and press Enter to reboot.
25. Insert the CD labeled "Windows NT Workstation" and click OK.
26. Click Next to allow Setup to gather information about your computer.
27. Choose Typical from the Setup Options, then click Next. (If hard disk space is
limited, choosing Portable will install only the necessary components.)
28. Enter your name and organization, then click Next.
29. Enter the 10-digit CD-key, then click Next. The CD-key is located on the back of the
CD jacket.
30. Enter a computer name, then click Next. This name is used by other computers on
the network to access your computer.
31. Enter an Administration password twice, then click Next. This password is used to
administer User IDs and Windows NT security.
32. Choose "No, do not create an emergency repair disk", then click Next.
33. Choose "Install the most common components", then click Next.
34. Click Next to Install Windows NT Networking.
35. Choose "Do not connect the computer to a network at this time", then click Next.
36. Click Finish to finish setting up Windows NT.
37. Enter the correct Time Zone and Date and Time, then click Close.
38. Click OK twice to accept the VGA-Compatible Display Adapter. (The video driver
will be installed in the next section.)
39. When prompted, remove any disk from the CD-ROM drive and click Restart
Computer to reboot.
Windows NT 4.0 is now installed on your computer. You will need to update drivers and
service packs as described hereafter.
