CLEANING AND CARE
Notes: • After disconnecting the plug from the receptacle and cooling down the body, start cleaning as shown below.
• Be sure to use the dilute tableware detergent, not cleanser, thinner, alcohol or nylon scrubbing brush which
causes scratches and rust.
• If you have cooked something other than white rice, clean the inner pot and the steam valve cap as soon
as possible. Failure to do so may cause corrosion or smell.
INNER POT
Wash with sponge and wipe
off water thoroughly.
BODY / LID / INNER LID
Wipe clean with wet
cloth, especially the
debris left on the body.
If you find dewdrop, wipe
it off until dry.
As for fluoro-resin coated inner pot.
• Wash the rice in a separate bowl to avoid scratching in the inner pot surface.
• Use the supplied plastic rice scoop. Do not use sharp-edged or metallic scoop, otherwise the fluoro-resin coated surface
may be scratched.
• Do not use vinegar.
• While using, the fluoro-resin coated surface may show color unevenness. This is due to moisture or steam, and it does
not cause any trouble for using or become sanitary problem.
• When the inner pot is changed in shape or damaged, please exchange for a new one.
