Section 12: Changing Your Settings

This section explains the various settings for your phone, including sound, display, time and date, phone, call,
connectivity and application settings.

Sound Settings

You can customize various sound settings.
Incoming Call
Call Ringtone
This menu allows you to select a ring melody. Highlight Call Ringtone and press
navigation keys to highlight a ring tone, the Left or Right keys to choose from Default Ringtones, Voice List, or
Downloaded Ringtones. Press Play to listen to the file, Select to confirm a selection.
Ringtone Volume
This menu allows you to adjust the ring volume to one of 7 levels, Silent Mode or Vibration Mode.
Use the Right or Left navigation key to increase or decrease the volume.
Call Alert Type
This menu allows you to specify how the phone informs you of incoming calls. Use the Right or Left key to select an
Alert type.
The following options are available:
– Melody: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ringtone menu.
– Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not ring.
– Melody and Vibration: the phone rings and vibrates simultaneously.
– Vibration then Melody: the phone vibrates and then starts ringing.
– Melody then Vibration: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ringtone menu and then vibrates.
Message Tone
This menu allows you to configure the ringer for incoming messages. Make changes as required then press Save to
save the changes.
