Section 11: Tools
Tools allow you to set alarms, schedule appointments, view the calendar, create a task list, write a note, perform
simple math calculations, calculate tips, check world time, perform unit conversions, set a timer, and use a stopwatch.
Alarm
This feature allows you to:
Set up to three alarms to ring at specified times.

Set the phone to switch on automatically and ring the alarm even if the phone is switched off.
•
The following options are available:
Alarm1 : set the time, day, and tone for this alarm.

Alarm2 : set the time, day, and tone for this alarm.
–
Alarm3 : set the time, day, and tone for this alarm.

– Auto Power-up: alarm rings at the specified time even if the phone is turned off. If the option is set to Off, alarms do not ring when the
phone is switched off.
To set an alarm:
From Idle mode, press Menu and select Tools
1.
Highlight an alarm and press Select or
2.
Select the Alarm field and press the Right Navigation key to turn the alarm on.
3.
Highlight the Alarm Time field, and enter the time you want this alarm to sound.
4.
Highlight AM/PM and press the Left or Right Navigation key to toggle the setting as required.
5.
Highlight the Alarm Day field and press

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) and press
beside the selection or remove a check mark. Repeat as necessary to select the required fields then press OK.
Highlight the Alarm Tone field and press

Select an alarm tone from the list and press

Press Save to save the alarm settings.
9.
To stop an alarm from sounding, press any key.
