Before Recording
(underlined options are the factory default settings)
Preset the default mode of recording quality. The recording mode
defi nes the picture quality of the recordings and the maximum
recording time on a disc. The factory default setting is SP.

Note: When copying from the hard disk to a recordable DVD,
the recording quality of the selected recording will automatically
be transferred. Selecting another recording mode is not possible.
This feature is only available if you have connected a Satellite
Receiver or another device to the EXT2 TO VCR/SAT scart
socket on this recorder.
{ Off }
– Turn off the function.
{ EXT2 }
– Enable this recorder to start and stop
recording according to the signal received
from the connected device.
Selects the recording language to be used for TV programmes
which are transmitted an additional audio language. For example,
if a programme is available in English and Spanish, with Spanish
being the additional language option.
{ Language 1 }
– Original broadcast language.
{ Language 2 }
– Additional audio language.
