Menu Bar

GUITAR RIG 5 is designed in a way that — once set up — you will hardly ever need to use
the Menu bar. Most functions are easier to access another way, as explained above. How-
ever, it may be necessary to change the "Audio and MIDI settings..." in standalone mode.
Also, all the GUITAR RIG 5 documentation is conveniently linked in the Help menu.

File

New Sound
Creates an empty new preset. Just enter a name, press
components of choice!
Save Sound
Has the same effect as clicking on

Save Sound As...
Has the same effect as clicking on

Import
Allows the import of GUITAR RIG presets into the Preset Browser. This option lets you
browse for GUITAR RIG 3 Banks, and for GUITAR RIG 4 and GUITAR RIG 5 rack sounds.
An easier way to import is to drag and drop the files directly into the browser preset list.
Audio and MIDI Settings...
To configure the audio and MIDI system of GUITAR RIG 5 for standalone use. See section

Exit
Quits the application.
Save
in the Preset Browser. Saves changes to the cur-
